POWERLIFTING TAKES 1ST & 3RD AT SILSBEE MEET

January 16 (Silsbee) – Bear Iron powerlifting traveled to Silsbee for their first meet of the season. Both teams had a very strong showing. The Bears placed 1st overall while the Lady Bears placed 3rd. Individual results are as follows: Boys – Aiden Snyder and Gunner Fry (1st in the 123’s), Jaxson Phelps (1st in the 148’s), Isaac Pinder (2nd in the 165’s), Dilon Cabrera (1st in the 181’s), Diego Velasques (2nd in the 198’s), Eddie Winters-Wilhite (1st in the 242’s), Nathan Childress (1st in the 275’s), Cooper Smith (3rd in his division), and Carson Phelps (1st in the 308’s). Girls – Madelyn Harding (2nd), Faithlyn Allen (3rd), Zay’Audria Epps (3rd), Callie Baugh (5th), Irelynn Kyle (1st), Karlee Cooksey (3rd), Kiari Walsten (3rd), Isabella Nicholas (5th), Alasia Allen (2nd), Cassandra Neville (4th), and Lanie Roff (5th).
